Heaton Park Cross Country

South East Lancs League (SELCC) and Manchester League

Heaton Park is a toughy, with plenty of undulations, wind and an uphill finish. Sections run parallel to paths so those in fell shoes possibly have a slight advantage over spike wearers because they can run on the faster tarmac path.   Loads of parking (enter through North Gate) and good toilet facilities, plus a burger van with hot drinks.  The races start near the Farm Centre.
